Military Proclaims “Flying Disc” Crashed
Sometime during the first week of July, 1947 something crashed on the ranch owned by W.W. ‘Mack’ Brazel. Brazel said about the incident, “As they rode along, he began to notice unusual pieces of what seemed to be metal debris scattered over a large area. Upon further inspection, he said, he saw a shallow trench several hundred feet long had been gouged into the ground.”
Brazel collected pieces from the crash site and showed the debris to others.
Immediately the military responded to the area. In a newspaper article published experts from the military announced a “Flying Disc” crashed at the ranch. Overnight the story went viral across the world.
Almost immediately the military retracted the statement saying a weather balloon was the culprit. The rest is history…
