DARPA’s Hypersonic Test Vehicle #2 (HTV-2)

In a video posted on YouTube, a DARPA HTV-2 mission from 2011 is explained. In the video we see the HTV-2 which is a wedge-shaped unmanned hypersonic space and aircraft. The HTV-2 was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on August 10, 2011 using a Minotaur IV rocket. The complete mission flight duration lasted roughly 20 minutes.

This video helps show some of the advanced technology that’s currently being used by the United States military. Check out the video below.
