NASA Photograph From Mars Curiosity Sparks Debate
NASA’s Mars Curiosity is a car-sized rover that was launched from Cape Canaveral in 2011. Curiosity is a part of the Mars Science Laboratory Mission spearheaded by NASA. The rover was sent to Mars to explore the Gale Crater, which is exactly where it landed on August 6, 2012.
Curiosity was also sent to the red planet to investigate the climate, geology, and other environmental conditions.
Although Mars Curiosity completed its two year mission in 2012, it is still operational as of today. Amazingly the incredible rover has been on Mars for 2141 sols or 2200 days.
Today on Twitter the planetary scientist Antonio Paris tweeted out a picture from Curiosity that shows an anomaly. Paris said, “A UFO on Mars.”

The image is very interesting and shows some kind of small black object above the ground. Upon closer inspection it almost looks like some kind of small flying saucer.
UFO debunker “UFOofInterest.org believes it to be just an image artifact.
What is it? A genuine UFO, a piece of dust, an image artifact, or something else? What do you think it is?
