New Drone Designs in the Sky

Technology is advancing, faster and faster. Autonomous drones are becoming a normal part of everyday life. Now it seems experts are looking to create new drones with ‘different looks’.

In a video posted by TED on YouTube an Autonomous Systems Expert, Raffaello D’Andrea, provides a demonstration of different drone “looks” and designs. Raffaello says these designs are a part of his current projects. Some of them are wicked!

“Lamp Shade” Flying Saucer

One of these futuristic drones shown by Raffaello has some kind of ‘lamp shade’ that’s illuminated yellow. That specific model would definitely result in UFO Reports. When looking up into the sky it always best to educate ourselves about publicly available technology that may be responsible for UFO Sightings.

TED says the following about the demonstration:

Autonomous systems expert Raffaello D’Andrea develops flying machines, and his latest projects are pushing the boundaries of autonomous flight — from a flying wing that can hover and recover from disturbance to an eight-propeller craft that’s ambivalent to orientation … to a swarm of tiny coordinated micro-quadcopters.
